Use this feature to control the application access
This new feature will help you control both your staff members from accessing the application, and from checking in/out anywhere at any time in just one step.
The feature specifically assists in preventing issues such as unauthorized access outside of scheduled shifts or designated premises.
Click on Staff & Scheduling
Select Staff List
Click Manage Roles
Select the role you want to delete from the drop-down list.
If you would like your staff members, to check in/out themselves or access the application anytime and anywhere then make sure to give them this permission "Access the app anywhere"
For example, an employee trying to log in from outside of the premises or outside their shift hours will require this permission to gain access.
If you remove the permission from your staff members they will not be able to use Parent unless they are checked in by the staff who has the permission to check-in other staff members, or they can check-in themselves through the Check-in Application or Check-in Browser They will receive the following message if they try to access Parent when they are not checked in.
Additionally, users may encounter restrictions such as 'Cannot Use App Outside Premises,' 'Cannot Access App Out of Scheduled Shifts,' or buffering issues. In such cases, administrators can troubleshoot by verifying internet connectivity, checking permissions for the user's role, or manually allowing access through the admin console.
