How does the Parent app manage invoices and payments for families with multiple children?

The Parent app provides various billing settings and functionalities to help families manage invoices for multiple children. Below, we provide an overview of how invoice generation, daycare-controlled settings, and payment workflows operate within the app, with a specific focus on families with more than one child.

Overview of Invoice Management

  • Individual Invoices per Child: The Parent app generates separate invoices for each child. However, depending on daycare settings, these invoices may be combined into one bill, or left as separate invoices. Please consult your daycare for specific configurations.

  • Controller of Billing Settings: The daycare sets up and configures how billing preferences work, including whether invoices for multiple children are combined or kept separate. The Parent app does not automatically merge invoices.

Auto-Pay Functionality

  • Auto-pay will process all outstanding invoices due for each child at the same time. You will not be charged twice for having multiple children; instead, you will be charged the total amount due based on the individual invoices.

Payment Options for Multiple Invoices

  • Pay Separately: If a daycare does not configure combined billing, you may need to pay each child’s invoice separately.

  • Consolidated Payments: The Parent app provides a “Pay all balance” option for families with multiple unpaid invoices due simultaneously. By using this feature, you can make one combined payment to cover all outstanding balances for your children.
